The Fall of the Roman Empire is a 1964 American epic film directed by Anthony Mann and produced by Samuel Bronston,  Film ini dibintangi Sophia Loren, Stephen Boyd, Alec Guinness, James Mason, Christopher Plummer, Mel Ferrer dan Omar Sharif.
Film yang dirilis tahun 1964 ini menceritakan sejarah kerajaan Roma yang kejayaannya mulai menurun.
The film was a financial failure at the box-office. Despite this, it is considered unusually intelligent and thoughtful for a film of the contemporary sword and sandal genre and also enjoys a 100% "Fresh" rating at Rotten Tomatoes.^[2] It features the largest outdoor film set in the history of film, a 92,000 m² replica of the Roman Forum.
 The Fall of the Roman Empire juga mendapatkan beberapa Award dan nominasi.
Tahun 2000 dibuat film "Gladiator" yang awal ceritanya film nya hampir sama dengan The Fall of the Roman Empire.  Gladiator dibintangi aktor Russell Crowe yang memenangkan Best Actor dari film ini.
