Doctor Zhivago is a 1965 British-Italian epic romantic drama film directed by David Lean.
Film ini mengambil cerita di Russia sebelum perang dunia ke satu di tahun 1917 - 1922 waktu terjadinya perang sipil di Russia waktu itu. Film ini berdasarkan novel yang terkenal karangan Boris Pasternak, yang mana bukunya sangat terkenal di dunia barat, tetapi di Uni Soveit bukunya dilarang beredar dalam waktu puluhan tahun. Omar Sharif berperan sebagai Yuri Zhivago, seorang dokter yang kehidupannya terpaksa banyak perubahan karena revolusi di Russia waktu itu.
The supporting cast includes Geraldine Chaplin, Rod Steiger, Alec Guinness, Tom Courtenay, Ralph Richardson, Siobhán McKenna and Rita Tushingham.
Film ini banyak memenangkan Oscar dan sangat sukses. Doctor Zhivago won five Oscars: Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design; it was nominated for five others (including Best Picture and Best Director).
 Released theatrically on 22 December 1965, the film went on to gross $111.7 million in the United States and Canada across all of its releases and is the eighth highest-grossing film of all time adjusted for inflation. In addition, it is also the eighth highest grossing film worldwide after adjusting for inflation.

The Fall of the Roman Empire is a 1964 American epic film directed by Anthony Mann and produced by Samuel Bronston,  Film ini dibintangi Sophia Loren, Stephen Boyd, Alec Guinness, James Mason, Christopher Plummer, Mel Ferrer dan Omar Sharif.
Film yang dirilis tahun 1964 ini menceritakan sejarah kerajaan Roma yang kejayaannya mulai menurun.
The film was a financial failure at the box-office. Despite this, it is considered unusually intelligent and thoughtful for a film of the contemporary sword and sandal genre and also enjoys a 100% "Fresh" rating at Rotten Tomatoes.^[2] It features the largest outdoor film set in the history of film, a 92,000 m² replica of the Roman Forum.
 The Fall of the Roman Empire juga mendapatkan beberapa Award dan nominasi.

Quo Vadis (Latin for "Where are you going?") is a 1951 American epic film made by MGM in Technicolor. It was directed by Mervyn LeRoy and produced by Sam Zimbalist, from a screenplay by John Lee Mahin, S.N. Behrman and Sonya Levien, adapted from the novel Quo Vadis (1896) by Henryk Sienkiewicz.
Film ini dibintangi Robert Taylor, Deborah Kerr, Leo Glenn dan Peter Ustinov, dan juga bintang2 film lainnya. Sergio Leone sebagai asisten sutradara untuk mensutradarai bintang2 film dari Itali.
The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards (though it won none), and was such a huge box-office success that it was credited with single-handedly rescuing MGM from the brink of bankruptcy.
Quo Vadis yang dirilis tahun 1951 sangat sukses sekali yang menceritakan kerajaan Roma sekitar tahun 64 - 68 Masehi dibawah pemerintahan Kaisar Nero yang terkenal sangat jahat, sadis dan suka merusak. Pada waktu itu kerajaan Roma yang dibawah pemerintahan Nero berkonfrontasi dengan orang2 Kristen.  Kaisar Nero ingin membangun kota Roma yang baru, Nero yang gila ini membakar kota Roma dan menyalahkan orang2 Kristen.

The film was a commercial success. According to MGM records, during its initial theatrical release it earned $11,143,000 in the U.S. and Canada and $9,894,000 elsewhere, making it the highest-grossing film of 1951, and resulting in a profit to MGM of $5,440,000.
